The Bekkers winemaking story starts with exceptional attention to detail in the vineyard. It is a showcase for Toby’s viticultural abilities and a philosophy of farming which views the vineyard through an ecological prism.

This philosophy extends equally to the cellar where Emmanuelle’s precision is the perfect foil to Toby’s unfettered, open-minded approach to winemaking.

Patience and gentle practices bring to life wines that not only possess the generosity for which McLaren Vale is renowned, but more importantly refined texture, fragrance and a sense of restraint.

McLaren Vale dominates the label in deference to the importance of provenance and our faith in the region.

We intend for our wines to partner good food and to be shared with fine company. Most importantly, we hope that they serve to enhance some of the most significant moments in the lives of our customers.

We have been fortunate to encounter some of the best the wine world has to offer, but nothing has diminished our conviction that McLaren Vale can deliver world class wines.

As a small family winemaker, we aspire to stand proud amid the world’s most coveted wines and their craftsmen. We aim to be an emblem for fine wine in our region.

Our wines are gently crafted in tiny quantities, with an accent on finesse and fine texture. We strive to inspire confidence and test the limits of what’s possible for McLaren Vale and Australian fine wine.
Loved by devotees world-wide with whom we have formed strong relationships, they share an appreciation for craftsmanship infused with the efforts and soul of the maker.

Available at just a handful of Australia’s premier restaurants and wine merchants, the majority of our production is reserved for our allocation list.
