Wine Advocate: 2024 Syrah Grenache, 94 pts

The 2024 Syrah Grenache is lighter than the Syrah on its own and weightier than the varietal Grenache, and herein lies the challenge I have found over the years: it is neither and yet both. However, today, it feels majestically modern in its approach to drinking; it is fresh, it has density and presence, and it has tannin shape. There are notes of raspberry compote, blackberry, sweet licorice and milk chocolate. I like this wine, as I always do, and find I it to be supple, detailed and mineral. It is excellent. 14% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
