The Real Review: 2024 McLaren Vale Syrah, 95 pts
The Real Review   |   Huon Hooke
Opaque, glass staining purple-red colour; sweet licorice, blackberry and broken rock aromas, the palate full-bodied and powerful, lashings of concentrated fruit backed by relatively subtle tannins, which add just the right amount of structure. Ironstone, graphite, bitumen all figure in the flavour spectrum. Impressive wine with an assured future.
