Deep bright red tinged with purple, and there are appealing chocolate and cassis aromas, nicely intertwined, while the palate delivers rich but elegant flavour, fine and balanced and beautifully composed. The concentration is there as is the fruit sweetness and it's all bound together with seamless elegance, the finish lingering satisfyingly. The oak handling is exemplary. A classy and impressive cabernet.
