The 2016 Syrah Grenache is a 69-31 blend of those two varieties. It’s darker, richer and plusher than the pure Grenache wines, offering scents of black cherries and blackberries. There’s plenty of power on the full-bodied palate, but the wine is creamy in texture, not aggressive at all, with a long, supple finish and lingering, complex notes of dried spices.
